PE Sessions

Our PE sessions at Busy Bees take place on a Friday morning and are led by Jodie Smith.

All activities are planned around the EYFS - some are led by the child and often follow on from an activity they had enjoyed the previous week.  The children are always enthusiastic about our PE sessions and they are enjoyed by all. The children recently enjoyed lots of ball play and especially liked rolling different sized ball to each other. We also looked at a triangular ball and talked about how we thought it would be different to a round ball
Learning in relation to the EYFS -
Move with confidence, imagination and in safety
Show awareness of space, of themselves and of others
Use a range of small and large equipment
Travel around, under, over and through balancing and climbing equipment
Recognise the importance of keeping healthy, and those things that contribute towards this
Recognise the change that happens to their bodies when they are active
Respond to rhythm, music and story by means of gesture and movement
Use movement to express feelings
If you would like tyour child to participate in our PE session, they need a PE kit consisting of:
* Black shorts for the warmer weather and black jogging bottoms or leggings for the Winter
* A plain white T-Shirt
* Non lace up pumps or trainers
* A drink in a non spill bottle
